Educational Support Opportunities – Starting at $2,500

Organizations supporting the APSA 2020 Annual Meeting and APSA-IPSO Symposium in the form of an educational grant at the $2,500 level will receive:
  • Description of your organization provided in the attendee packet and in the meeting app† (75-word maximum)
  • Organization name acknowledged on signs†
  • Acknowledgement on scrolling slides
  • President’s acknowledgement from the podium, recognizing your organization as a supporter of the annual meeting
  • Organization name in a thank-you message on the APSA website and via e-mail to all APSA members

Information about Continuing Medical Education (CME)

APSA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

This live activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). This live activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Please note: Per the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and APSA education guidelines, logos of any company considered a commercial interest are not permitted. Logos may not be displayed in promotion of the meeting. Only company names can be used. A commercial interest is any entity producing, marketing, re-selling or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients. The ACCME does not consider providers of clinical service directly to patients to be commercial interests.  Per the ACCME and APSA continuing education guidelines, supporters may not direct the content or planning of any educational session. Specific product logos are not allowed.

Sponsorship Opportunities

In addition to educational grants, sponsorship opportunities are also available for the APSA 50th Annual Meeting. All sponsors will receive:
  • Description of your organization provided in the attendee packet and meeting app (75-word maximum)
  • Organization name acknowledged on signs
  • Acknowledgement on scrolling slides
  • President’s acknowledgement from the podium, recognizing your organization as a sponsor of the annual meeting
  • Organization name in a thank-you message on the APSA website and via e-mail to all APSA members

Lunch Bag – $6,500

More than 40% of American business executives bring a bagged lunch to work each day. Why settle for a boring brown bag when you can provide our attendees with colorful and insulated lunch bags that prominently display your brand name? Show off your brand logo while our attendees are happily snacking.
 

Wi-Fi – $6,500

What's the Wi-Fi password? Your organization's name! As the exclusive sponsor of meeting internet connectivity, you'll be providing attendees with a digital lifeline in all meeting rooms and public spaces.
 


Photo Booth – $4,500

This was a bit hit for our attendees last year. Sponsor the photo booth, and we'll prominently display your brand on vinyl over the booth.
 

Lanyards – $4,000

Get your organization's name hanging around the neck of each attendee by sponsoring meeting lanyards. Attendees receive their lanyards when picking up their badges.
 

Hotel Key Card – $4,000

You'll never find a hotel guest without his or her room key. Get your name on all key cards distributed to meeting attendees staying at the host hotel.
 


Room Drop – $3,000/per room drop

Special delivery! Your organization’s collateral (a pamphlet, flyer, brochure, etc.) will be slipped under the under guest room doors of all attendees staying at the host hotel.
 


Charging Stations – $3,000

After taking notes, tweeting details of the meeting and making dinner plans, attendees will need full batteries for their phones, tablets and laptops. Have your branding custom-wrapped on the charging station, and whenever attendees stop to charge their phones, they'll thank you for getting their devices back to 100%.
 


Refreshment Break – $2,000

Attendees are sure to appreciate a boost of hazelnut or vanilla in their coffee with a coffee station sponsored by your organization. Morning and afternoon refreshment breaks are provided to attendees and give them another opportunity to network and meet with exhibitors. Your organization's name will be displayed on signage, and you'll have the opportunity to personally meet and network with attendees.
 

Mailing Label/E-Mail Order – $1,500

Reach out to APSA members or attendees of the APSA 2020 Annual Meeting with printed material. Mailing labels or a third-party e-mail can be purchased for a one-time use. Please note that not all members or attendees choose to be listed. All requests for labels must be made before April 30, 2020, or after May 31, 2020. Learn more.
 

Social Media Upgrade – $750

Get in front of APSA's social media fanbase of 7,000+ followers from all over the world, including in-practice, in-training and aspiring pediatric surgeons. We will mention you as a featured supporter once the month before the Annual Meeting and once during the meeting.
 


Take One Literature Table – $500/piece

Display one of the following at a non-supervised table for attendees to browse and take: brochure, educational material, publication, newsletter or survey. 

APSA will provide shipping and quantity information at a later date.
 


Push Notifications – $500

Ding, new notification from APSA's conference app! Send targeted messages to all attendees through our meeting mobile application. Your message will be sent to all app users each day of the Annual Meeting (one message for each day or all the same message) and is imited to 230 characters of which 20 can be use for a title (mandatory).



This information is included in the attendee packet and meeting app if APSA Headquarters receives a contract on or before the editorial deadlines.
