The APSA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private organization, created for scientific, educational and charitable purposes in support of the American Pediatric Surgical Association. Since its creation in March 1993, the Foundation has been a source of essential funds to promote education and biomedical research in pediatric surgery, and global access to excellent pediatric surgical care.

To be eligible for Chair, the candidate

  • Must be a regular or senior APSA member in good standing
  • Must be a significant contributor to the APSA Foundation

  • Need not currently be on the APSA Foundation board
  • Foundation philanthropy and board experience highly desirable

Suitable candidates for the Director-at-Large will be regular or senior members in good standing, with philanthropic experience and/or an interest in working on issues of import to the Foundation. Additional information regarding requirements can be found on the Board of Directors Job Description.
